Hebei Exports Dairy Cattle to Uzbekistan for the First Time

Uzbekistan, marking a historic milestone in China’s live cattle export sector. The cattle were transported from Cangzhou, Hebei, and exited China through the Irkeshtam Port in Xinjiang after passing strict inspection and quarantine procedures conducted by Cangzhou Customs under Shijiazhuang Customs.

This shipment represents the first export of dairy cattle from Hebei Province to Uzbekistan and also the largest single batch of Chinese dairy cattle ever exported to Uzbekistan.

To ensure compliance with Uzbekistan’s animal health and quarantine standards, Shijiazhuang Customs developed a dedicated supervision plan in advance and deployed technical experts to provide on-site guidance throughout the process. In close cooperation with local agricultural authorities, exporting enterprises were guided to strengthen disease prevention systems, standardize disinfection procedures, and strictly implement all quarantine requirements, ensuring the health and safety of the cattle.

The successful export highlights the growing international competitiveness of high-quality Chinese dairy cattle and reflects the deepening agricultural cooperation between China and countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative. It also demonstrates China’s commitment to promoting sustainable agricultural development and cross-border collaboration.

Looking ahead, Shijiazhuang Customs will continue to safeguard biosecurity while optimizing regulatory services, supporting more Hebei’s high-quality agricultural and livestock products in accessing global markets.

This milestone further supports the growing demand for advanced breeding technologies and livestock equipment in Central Asia
